Meet me in my Crib?

Tonight we're going to start transitioning Hannah into her crib, so when we move it's not such a huge change. I'm sure we won't sleep tonight... but she'll be happier in the end. A baby who sleeps better is happier, and that's important. Of course it's better that she'll be well rested. Eventually anyways. So wish us luck!

KITTY

Hannah just cracks me up lately. She loves to lay on the floor after she's eaten and wiggle. A lot of the time, the cats will come to investigate what she's doing. And she just LOVES them. She totally "talks" to them, and stares like they're going out of style. It's hilarious! I figured I'd share since no one really gets to see that stuff.

Great Nana

Hannah had a very nice weekend. She went to church on Saturday, and then saw her Great Nana. Actually slept on her the whole time. No one else really got to hold her at all. At least we'll go up to visit again Mother's day weekend, then maybe she'll go see some other people. She kinda just vegged here with us yesterday. Had a quiet day, and went to sleep on time. I really can't complain. For the most part she goes to sleep between 9:30 and 10, and only gets up once. So that's good. I have some errands to do today, so hopefully I'll get in the shower while she sleeping, and then go out.

slacker

Guess I've been kind of slacking when it comes to my journal, but as amazing as she is, no one wants to hear about the little things... especially when they're silly.Grandpa came to visit on Monday night... and she was very agreeable all night. Even went to bed on time... though she woke up just before Grandpa left. She did go right back to sleep. So far nothing terribly interesting is going on. She's going to see her Great Nana on Saturday, and that will be a real treat. She'll be six weeks old then. And already I feel like she's getting so big! I don't notice as much as other people... but she really is much bigger than when she was born.

One Month WCC

Hannah had her one month doctor's appointment last night. She weighs 8lbs 5oz. One pound more than she did at birth, and she is 20 7/8 inches. I know that doesn't sound like much, but the measured her at the Doc's at 19 1/2, so according to them she's gained more than an inch also!She's being terribly fussy at night, and hopefully the book I'm reading is right when they say it should start to get better after 6 weeks. We're having a terrible time getting her to go to sleep, and when she wakes up at night, to go back to sleep. I'm hoping it's the age, and it will get better. I want her to get out of the habit of sleeping in her bouncy chair with the vibrate setting on.

Good Kiddo

Hannah has been continuing to sleep for 6-7 hours at night, and only waking up once to eat. Now the only problem is getting her back to sleep. Guess I'll have to figure that one out now. Sorry this is short, but it's morning, and she wants to eat!

Sleeping!

Color me absolutely shocked!!! Last night Hannah went down at 9:15, and slept until 4:15. If she had gone one more hour we would have considered that all night, since Steven would get up with her and stay up! I wonder if the long walk I took had something to do with it? She napped really well, so I was surprised that she slept that long.

First Pictures

Hannah had her first pictures done at Sears yesterday, and if I do say so myself, they are perfect! She was so incredibly good. She only fussed a little bit, and only because I had to keep picking her up and moving her. We bought the disk, so the pictures are in the photo gallery, and we'll be getting them back in like 2 weeks. And I'm so pleased that the time change didn't screw her up too much. She went to sleep around 9:30 last night and slept until almost 2:30. So I think she's doing really well. Hopefully she'll sleep through the night soon, and then things will really get fun!

Church

Hannah went to church for the first time yesterday. She was very good, though Grandpa kidnapped her during the sermon. She was so good, and she slept well last night too. She only woke up once during the night, and I guess I can deal with that. Too bad we had to turn the clocks, as if I don't lose enough sleep as it is. LOL So I'm going to finish my coffee and try to shower before Gramma gets here.
