Firsts

Well we had a couple of firsts this weekend. Hannah spent her first night away from home with Gramma... and amazingly slept through the night for them. Then she slept through for us on Sunday night 9-5:45. Yay! And then yesterday when Auntie Jennie and Uncle Ben came to visit, she found her thumb, all by herself. She was sucking on it, and was very happy most of the day. I think she's teething already... something I am dreading. She's drooling up a storm, and when I put my knuckle in her mouth, she doesn't suck on it, she bites down on it. So I guess she's not too unhappy about it. No fussing yet. So we'll see how long this goes on before we see a tooth. We're all moved in, and Hannah loves her new room. I'll take some pictures of it, and post them here so everyone else can see.

Hannah Hates that dress!

So Hannah was dedicated... and she HATED her dress! She screamed almost the entire time we were up front. I thought since she was so unhappy they'd try to keep it short, but that didn't happen. She was much happier when I took her back and put her PJ's back on. We had a good time at lunch... and she's still sleeping in her crib. But I think moving is going to screw that one up. I'll post new pictures from Saturday as soon as I can get Grandpa to email me some... we took a video, but can't post that here.

Dedication Tomorrow

Well Hannah's being Dedicated at church tomorrow, and then we're off to dinner at Grandpa and Mimi Bruso's. I can't wait to see how upset she is with the dress that Meme bought her. I think she's gonna hate it! Someday she'll love it though. We'll be moving next weekend, so she'll finally get to sleep in her new pink bunny room! Now if only we could get her to sleep all night, everything would be perfect. She's such a sweetie though, I wouldn't trade her for anything. She's definitely a Mommy's girl!

Sick baby

Poor Hannah was sick last night. She had a fever and was very cranky. We called the Dr.. and she said to give her tylenol, and she's going to call back this morning. On a good note, Hannah slept through the night!!! She slept from 9:30-6am. Of course I'm sure it's because she didn't feel good. So she probably won't do it again. But we'll see. Of course I didn't sleep any better because once we got to about 3:30am, I was afraid she'd wake up, so I didn't sleep well at all. Oh well, maybe she'll keep it up.

Roller!

We had some excitement on Monday afternoon... Hannah rolled over from her tummy. I think she scared herself... and it was an accident, but it's progress. She cried when she was done, and now flat out refuses to do it again. I'm sure we'll be seeing it again soon, but for now we'll just do tummy time and wait.

Mother's Day Weekend

Hannah had a good day on Saturday, she went to church and then to Grandpa and Mimi's for dinner. She was snuggled to death I think! Only downside to that was she insisted on sleeping with Mommy and Daddy Saturday night. However last night she did much better and slept in her bed from 9:30 until 2:15. I think that might have had something to do with her upset tummy though. She spent most of yesterday spitting up, or throwing up what she ate. It got better last night, so I think she was tired and slept! But she's feeling better now, and is all smiles for Mommy this morning as I type.

Dedication Coming Soon

Hannah is still sleeping in her crib most of the night, but now she's started waking up at 11:30 and 3am. I don't mind getting up with her, but I was definitely spoiled by only having to get up once. I think maybe she's growing... but who knows. She's still as smiley as ever, when she's happy. And I just love those cute little smiles. I can't wait until she starts to giggle. Hannah will be dedicated on Saturday May 21 at the Village Church and we're very excited about that. Pastor Sierra agreed to dedicate her. So that's the interesting news for now... I'm sure they'll be more to come.

Still a shocker

Hannah has certainly managed to shock me again. I got some tips from the Webmd message board on how to make the transition to her crib easier, and they appear to have worked. Friday night she went in her crib at ten past nine, and stayed there until around 2am. Then last night, I put her down at 8:15 and she slept in there until 2:45. Of course she stays in bed with us after she eats, but once she sleeps through the night, she'll be in her crib all night. It's amazing... I really thought it would be harder for us, and her! Now I only have to figure out how to get her to sleep there once it gets hot, because I certainly can't swaddle her in a fleece blanket in the middle of July!
