Night away
So tomorrow we're off and we'll see how well she deals with a night away from home. We got her weaned off her mobile, since she broke it anyway. Now she has her bunny with the pull tail. Wish us luck!

Standing and Walking
Hannah is just more and more fun as days go by. She's now laughing spontaneously... and clapping, which I think is great. She's standing longer and longer on her own, and will actually walk behind her push toy for quite a while. There are pictures of this in her photo album. We had to take her to the dr's on Friday, because of a suspected ear infection, but so far so good. And she's 8 months old and weighs 16lbs 2oz... so she's gained over 1 1/2 lbs since she was there 2 months ago.

Crawling, kisses, and new food
Hannah is a regular Speedy Gonzales with her crawling now. She's also pulling up and doing some cruising. Her new favorite trick is giving kisses, though mostly she only kisses Daddy. Sometimes she also waves to the cat... it's pretty funny. I think we're in for some more teeth soon, as her diapers have been scary and her sleeping/napping erratic. Oh, and occasionally she can stand on her own for a few seconds. It's pretty cute, but then she gets excited and falls on her behind.I think today we're gonna try grilled cheese for lunch... she loved spaghetti the other night.

Yay for Teeth
And finally, after more than two solid weeks of teething... We have TWO teeth! You can feel her two bottom teeth broken through the gums. They're still very hard to see, since she sticks her tongue on them everytime she opens her mouth... but definitely there. And she's been in a fantastic mood too. I'm sure because her mouth doesn't hurt now. Hannah is also crawling. She doesn't do it much, but is definitely capable. She goes a few steps and stops, but if she's mad or frustrated, she goes much farther.

Teething
Hannah appears to be teething like a fiend. Drool everywhere, fussy nonstop, and she's not happy about taking a bottle. I hope if that's what it is, she gets it in soon. Love her to death, but this is driving me insane!

Visitors
Well, Hannah is still sleeping through the night, and sitting very well. She also stands holding onto things if you let her. Rather unsteady with that, but very cute. There are pictures in the photo albums.Having company tomorrow. Aunt Maura and Aunt Judy and Amanda are coming to visit. They haven't seen Hannah yet, so there will be more pics in the albums after this weekend. Hannah's boyfriend Gabriel is also coming to visit on the 18th of September, so that will be fun.

Busy Busy Busy
Wow, it's amazing how busy you get with a baby! Hannah is sleeping through the night, and has been for about 6 weeks now. We also stopped swaddling her, and rocking her to sleep. She sleeps very well, and hardly cries at all when we put her down to sleep. She's also eating solid food now, and she's very enthusiastic about it. She'll eat anything you put on a spoon for her. So far she's eaten cereal, squash, carrots, and peas. Tonight we're gonna try green beans. Everything is going very well, she rolled over last month, and now she's working on sitting up. She tripods pretty well, but wants to use her hands, so I think she'll be sitting alone pretty soon.
