Darndest Things

H: Mommy, you brushing your hair?
M: Yes
H: Wow, that's a lot of hair!

Oh man, there is nothing more hilarious than three year olds who are masters of the obvious. Hannah is at the point though where if you don't recognize that she's said something, she repeats it. Over and over and over and over.... (you get it right?) until you finally say "I heard you the first 20 zillion times".

I will say, I'm thankful we've instilled an idea of what is the order things are supposed to go in. Having a new baby makes me somewhat forgetful. More than once (sadly) I have put Norah in her seat while I told Hannah to go climb in hers. I have put groceries in the back and gotten in to start the van only to hear "MOMMY! You Forgot!" Thank God she reminded me.... do you know which part I missed?

Hannah's favorite book right now is the Three Billy Goats Gruff. Which is funny because she insists all kinds of things scare her, but not that ugly nasty troll in the picture. Not him, he's not scary.

Just for one day I want to understand the mind of a toddler.

Does she repeat it until you repeat it back to her so she knows you understand? My friend's son does that, thank goodness Hunter doesn't because there are times that I DON'T HAVE A CLUE!
